da stake casino: Tottenham Hotspur are now planning an attack to sign an “exceptional” Borussia Dortmund player, but the German club have set a high asking price.
Spurs eyeing Dortmund star after Champions League clash
da mrbet: Thomas Frank managed to stave off some of the pressure with a 2-0 victory against Dortmund on Tuesday night, courtesy of first-half goals from captain Cristian Romero and Dominic Solanke, with the striker getting on the scoresheet for the first time since May.
Tottenham have been impressive in the Champions League this season, moving up to fourth in the standings as a result of the win against the Bundesliga side, but their form in the Premier League leaves a lot to be desired.
Worryingly, some of Frank’s summer signings haven’t hit the ground running, with Xavi Simons not exactly off to a flying start, contributing just one goal and three assists in 16 Premier League outings.
As such, Spurs have now joined the race for another midfielder, according to a report from BILD (via Sport Witness), which states they are planning a transfer ‘attack’ to sign Borussia Dortmund star Felix Nmecha.
However, a deal could be on the expensive side, with the Lilywhites’ recent Champions League opponents unlikely to sanction a departure for less than €60m (£52m).
With the 25-year-old, who often features in an attacking midfield role, contracted until 2028, Dortmund are currently in a strong negotiating position, but interest from the Premier League is growing, with Manchester United also named as potential suitors.
"Wonderful" Nmecha could excel at Spurs
The Hamburg-born maestro was unable to make much of an impact at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday night, but he has previously caught the eye in the Champions League this season, scoring three goals in seven outings.

Former Dortmund boss Nuri Sahin has also been full of praise for the six-time Germany international in the past, with the Turk particularly impressed by his versatility.
The Hamburg-born midfielder has caught the eye in the Bundesliga this season too, showcasing his defensive attributes in a 2-0 victory against Borussia Monchengladbach last month, which suggests he could be a very well-rounded player.

Nmecha has proven he could be a quality signing for Tottenham, but bringing in a new midfielder arguably shouldn’t be a priority for ENIC this month, having already secured Conor Gallagher’s signature.
